Always make sure your antenna is pulled out or even attached before you go flying.
For those with computer radios that have more than 1 model programed into memory, make sure you have the right model selected before take off.
If you’re looking to make a very strong joint use carbon fiber. Buy a small strip of 1″ wide tape, maybe a couple feet, mix your epoxy into your mixing cup. Then take a strand of carbon from the tape, cut very small pieces (1/32 or so) into your epoxy mixture and mix. Use as much as you think you will need then use it to strengthen your joint (firewall) or use it as a fillet in a high stress area. This mixture will be virtually unbreakable.
To thread an antennae wire down the plastic protective tube, coat the wire in baby powder and it should slide into the tube easily.
