Bell Air RC Flyers Club Members say THANK YOU to The Heritage Flight Museum at The Bellingham International Airport for having us celebrate their January FlyDay with them last weekend.
While the weather outside was overcast and cool, the weather inside the “hanger” was brightly lit, warm and dry. We had many visitors come through the hanger and look at the full scale planes, admire the Model Planes and, try their hand at flying the model planes on our Flight Simulator!
The highlight of the day was hearing the “AD-4 Skyraider” fire up, warm up and do a few low passes over the airport. The sound is incredible and watching the wings “fold and unfold” during taxiing is interesting indeed.
